8. How can I learn about upcoming events? A: We help people in our community who are in need of special physical accommodations to get around their homes, but who cannot afford to pay for renovations.
A: We will gladly help anyone in genuine need. We have a simple application, and then we send our contractors to assess the home and come up with a plan of action.
3. How does the foundation raise money? A: We have several fundraising events each year. We also accept personal and corporate donations, and we have donation boxes located by the registers of several local businesses. All that change really adds up!
4. How can people support the foundation? A: You can help by coming out to our annual events, making donations, by using goodsearch.com as your regular search engine, using Amazon.com with our foundation and by volunteering with our board members.
5. Are donations to the foundation tax-deductable? A: Our foundation has a 501(c) (3) number that is provided when a donation is made.
6. If someone needs mobility equipment, can you help? A: Our foundation has a lending library of wheelchairs, canes, shower chairs, and other items for short or long term borrowing.
7. Do you accept equipment donations? A: Yes, we will happily accept gently used equipment to add to our lending program, and the donation is tax-deductable.
